FARM RULES

We are happy to share the farm with our community. Without taking away from your excitement, we do need for people to experience the farm in a safe and respectful manner.

Therefore, we’ve developed some guidelines:

  1. For all farm activities, your pets are not allowed.
  2. Please drive slowly on our gravel road.
  3. If a gate is closed and you open it, please close it behind you. 
  4. Please do not go in any pens.
  5. Assume that all fences are hot.

AIRBNB

Please reserve your stay through Airbnb; $20 for 1-2 people and $10 per each additional guest.

Please note: There are five camping platforms listed on AirBnB so if they appear booked reach out to us directly as there are multiple options for larger parties, etc. Search “Cane Creek Camping Platform #1-5” or click on the pictures below.

Saxapahaw is a small village with a lot to discover. Here are a few favorite places and activities to enjoy during your stay:

The General Store, a co-op and fine food stop

The Eddy Pub, a divine restaurant that overlooks the river

The Haw River Ballroom, hosting world class music acts by night and coffee shop by day

Haw River Farmhouse Ales, the best in local brews

Left Bank Butchery, whole-animal butcher shop all sourced within a few miles of the shop (try our pork here!)

Saturdays in Saxapahaw, drawing hundreds every summer Saturday for music, food trucks, slip and slide and farmers’ market

Haw River Canoe and Kayak, bringing the river to people from all over

PHOTO OP

Many photographers are looking for a unique location to host their next photo shoot. We offer scenic photography options for your clients from brides walking through lush, green pasture, to children playing with lambs, chickens, and other animals. We offer an hourly rental option ($60/hr) which includes the use of our farm’s barn as a changing area.

A Cane Creek Farm representative will be present for the shoot to assist the photographer with animals and garden access. Payment in full is required to reserve your date. We will happily reschedule your shoot for inclement weather.
